Consultants

Consultants

I worked at a consultancy desk for a while, when I saw that consultancy goes hand in hand with presentations. You come in as an Associate Consultant and have to present immediately. For your colleagues, potential customers, your executives. It is a pretty tall order. Most of them are used to present during their study but never received any feedback.

Nevertheless, I was surprised that hardly any consultants followed a presentation course or something similar. They often measure themselves to the one who catches most clients or to a CEO who has already had a lot of experience in presenting, and they often become a “clone” of that person during a presentation.

But what “works” for that person does not mean it works for you too. After a few sessions, I noticed that feedback was very welcome. They were not  aware how they present. Is it actually a good presentation, does the real message come across? How do I come across? There is also work to do on the content and structure of a presentation.

If you recognize this and you want to develop yourself, I would like to assist you here.
